Ever heard of Vegan Beer before a split second ago? Neither had I; let's explore together.
Apparently, some beer is SO un-vegan that a whole chicken is dropped into the beer at some point! This fact alone is enough to get this blogger to at least try the vegan stuff--and hey what better an opportunity to try it than at the 3rd Annual Los Angeles Vegan Beer and Food Festival, on May 12th (get tickets now!)
This event covers all of its bases, it tumbls, tweets, and facebooks but there is also a general lack of information about this presumably fascinating topic and event (though there are many vegan beer lists online). The only remedy is to go to the event and see what happens!
There are hints that these things might be at the festival: Amanda's Bakery & Cafe, Chastellis Food Truck, Frankens, Doomie's Home Cookin, Mandoline Grill, Fresh Fries, Seabirds Truck, Karl Strauss Brewing, Sierra Nevada Beer, Fireman's Brew, Mohawk Bend and Golden Road Brewing.
