There is so much to learn about food!  Here is a compilation of some food facts that Mental Floss recently posted.

Hostess switched to vanilla after bananas were rationed during World War II."   On a related note, there have been reports that Hostess is facing bankruptcy after a court refused its request to abandon bakers' and teamsters' unions rights to collective bargaining.
