Busy week here in FOOD JUSTICE HOUSE. Lots of homework, not much time for blogging. Here's what we've been up to:
- Turnips, beans, and chard all sprouted this week. We planted some carrots, basil, and onions, and hopefully they'll be coming up soon. We have a new pepper plant growing inside, which should hopefully produce a whole new round of SALSA and PEPPER JUSTICE in the upcoming months.
- I had SO MANY good oranges!
- We checked out South La Brea and saw a ton of awesome stores with loads of made-in-USA clothes. We probably should have brought a camera.
- Go Pats! FJ HOUSE Super Bowl Party 2012 is going to be SO sick!
- Ben "The Best" Tuthill's senatorial campaign was deemed unconstitutional, but FJ HOUSE n00b Julia Carrizosa won her election, and is now Occidental College's newest campus-wide senator! Congratulations, Julia! You are the backbone of our HOUSE, or school, and our nation. Your beauty, wits, and JUSTNESS are known throughout Los Angeles county. Julia for President! FOOD JUSTICE for President!
